Jedi Lunchbox

I had a version of this lunchbox when I was five. It survived the fire in my parents’ house. I would look at the pictures while I ate lunch with my friends in Kindergarten. I don’t know what ever happened to the original, but these pictures are of an identical box that a student of mine found at a tag sale.

The Final Countdown

We did the walkthrough tonight (after getting my car back- thanks Doug).
We are living between towers of boxes.
The truck is reserved and being picked up Friday morning (the hunt for street parking begins at 9).
The closing is at 2:30; the house should be ours by 4:00.
Moving on Saturday begins at 9:00. Bagels and cream cheese will be served.
Lunch is in Middletown around noon (thanks Mom).
Hopefully everything will be wrapped up by 3:00 or so.

We won’t have internet until Tuesday, so picture updates for those who can’t attend will be sometime after that.

Been Busy

It’s been a little while since we posted.

A lot has been happening, so I’ll abbreviate:

House
The Good
House stuff is moving along- we are packing our belongings and pricing furniture. There is a huge list of people willing to schlep our stuff.

The Bad
We’re not sure when exactly our closing is. We are trying to move it from the 31st to the 25th, but we have yet to hear if that is going to happen. Either way we will be loading a truck on the 26th of January.

My Accident- While stopped at a light, I was hit by a teenage driver on Tuesday.
The Bad
Isn’t it obvious?

The Good
Everything is being taken care of, and I have a Pontiac G6 to drive around.

Kids, Don’t Read Books

I can’t even begin to estimate the weight, number, or cost of these books. All I know is it took me hours to box them up and this isn’t even all of them. I have never been more anxious to return books to their owners.
