Mr. Raucci: the Man, the Legend, the Experience

It’s about time that there was a fansite dedicated to me (or at least a Facebook group). It has 64 members as of right now, which isn’t too bad (the Facebook group Students for Christopher Dodd only has 8 members).

Only students at MHS can join, but anyone with a Facebook can look at it.

Now they just need some content (hopefully positive).

New Axe in the Arsenal

There are reports that Guitar Hero 3 for Wii is going to be scarce around the holidays, and although I don’t really believe that, I didn’t want to be pissed later. I’ve been a fan of this game since I played the original years ago, but never owned a system that had it.

Other rhythm games to check out:

Frets on Fire
Which allows you to make and trade any song from your mp3 library (as well as download all GH content). You can even hook the GH controller up to your computer. The Wii version requires a Bluetooth dongle and some coding skills, so I haven’t done that yet.

Phase
Just came out through iTunes last week. Five bucks and a download of the newest version of iTunes is all you need. It will play any song on your iPod and was designed by Harmonix (first two GHs and Rock Band).

My only review is that it rules. Over the last two days, Maggie and I have logged more hours than we care to admit. We may be late to the party, and Rock Band may be the hot ticket this year, but we couldn’t be happier.
