My March Madness

After Spring-like days early in the week (I went golfing and smelled barbeque), we are now under a proper snow. Maybe we’ll be able to use the new toboggan after all.

Maggie Assaults Hungry, Drunken Man on the Streets

After a night of dancing and drinking at Bar with Maggie’s colleagues, we saw a man stumbling down Crown with a slice of pizza in his mouth and another one on a paper plate. Excited that we wouldn’t have to walk for late-night eats, Maggie tries to get his attention to find out where he got it. When verbal signals don’t work, Maggie walks backwards along side him to give him a visual. Now it’s unclear who bumped whom, but the slice on the plate slides onto the salty sidewalk. Without missing a beat (or uttering a word), the man retrieves his street slice and begins to eat it as he walks away.

What we Learned:

• Although the second-rule that normally applies to food that falls on the street outside a bar is 0, it goes up depending on how drunk one is.
• People eating off the street is hilarious.
• Maggie messing with the public is also great.
• And apparently they sell slices late-night at Bar.

Thank You and Songs of the Days

Thanks to all for making my birthday week as awesome as it was. I will thank you all individually of course, but here is a blanket Thank You.

Going out soon, so here is the quick update:

It may be well known that shuffle is my favorite iPod setting. And in a vast music collection that becomes a great deal of fun. But often I find myself skipping tracks to get to something that fits the moment- a song I want to hear right then and there. Well, there is about a song a day that (for lack of a better phrase) rubs me the right way.
