City of Crime

All cities have their problems. But in New Haven you can look at all the problems the city has with the assistance of the New Haven Crime Log- police push-pin style.

You can browse by street (there have been 50 incidents on Orange St between 5/12 and 6/11),

type of crime (there have been three “Flimflams” within the city limits within the same time period),

area (you can pretty much guess where the most luftballons [red is the most severe] will be).

Interestingly enough, it may help you find a place to score after hours booze, dope, or a prostitute- if you’re into that sort of thing. Or just find out what your neighbors are doing. The good news is that in a city of 125,000 or so there have only been 37 unwanted persons in a month.

My only gripe is that the info in the balloons don't link to a news story or police report.
