Half Yards

In case you forgot (I did)-
Half-Yards Rule.

If you get enough of them on the table, you feel like your doing something scientific. All you need is a Bunsen burner and some schematics.

Who Knew?

While driving to work today I saw a giant ball of fire in the sky.
It freaked the hell out of me.
Turns out it is something called the sun.
More info as it develops.

wePod

Because I am not really good at sharing technology, I decided to take the money I would have spent on a renewal of my Sirius subscription and buy Maggie an iPod. I found a 20gig Photo on ebay from a reputable company and bid on several of their many auctions. We received it on Friday and Maggie couldn’t be happier with it.

Two bad things though-
1. It looks like the end of Allofmp3.
2. After opening the package I remembered something I read on the seller's website-
Why does it cost this much to ship my item?
Answer: We use a custom Foam-in-Place packing system. It is state of the art and is not cheap to use, but helps insure that your product arrives undamaged.

Now the item is fine and we have no complaints, but here is a picture of the “state of the art”, “foam-in-place” shipping method that some of our $19.95 went to.

24 Min to Spare?

I know you’ve probably seen this (or heard about it). Even if you have, you should free up 24 minutes and watch this here link. The media isn’t really covering it (for obvious reasons), but I thought I’d do my tiny little part to spread it a bit further.

Enjoy.

Thunder 33

Over a bowl of Pho with Maggie and Dina, I found a Vietnamese beer (again- first time with Adam and Ray) whose logo reminded me of Thundercats. This time I had the knowledge of Carib, which (more importantly) the taste reminds me of. As if beer didn't make me feel powerful enough.

Light travel = no camera, therefore lo-res internet equivalent.

Coming to a City Near You

Spring is here in full swing and although we don’t have any concert plans yet it doesn’t mean that we can’t wear tour shirts.

There are a lot of similarities between being on a concert tour and going to a lot of weddings:
Highway travel (Car pools/caravans)
Good friends
Lots of different hotel rooms
Reckless drinking
Reckless dancing
Bands/DJs
People trying to sell you mushrooms

The tour is currently on a break. It gives us a chance to relax and regroup. Also, it’s nice that the next leg is a hometown tour.

See you on the dance floor.
