iPod Video Killed the Satellite Radio *

A few short months into the iPod experience and Sirius use died off in my car and in my home.

Monday morning the Orbiter paused and came up with a message to call Sirius to reactivate (I had a lot of warning).

Howard was good, but if I really want to listen to him, I can find him elsewhere.

The music was good, but that too, I can find elsewhere. (and here)

Plus I couldn’t watch The Sopranos, take it with me, move it easily to someone else’s car for a road trip, or have any real say as to what was on.

Goodbye Sirius. It was nice while it lasted.

Astigmatism

I need glasses. People have told me that I lack focus. It turns out(as illustrated in the picture at left) that they were right.


Update:
Maybe it’s that I have multiple points of focus.

Question:
Anyone know if there is an etymological connection between astigmatism and stigmata?

Tag Sale a Success

The rain held out
The people showed up- both the sane and the insane.
And bought up most of our stuff.
No burgers were sold (or given away), but there was delicious limeade that people enjoyed at our request.

Between all of us, we brought in almost a thousand dollars in two days.Tag sales are exhausting.
