Mac Day

Big news (maybe) from Apple today.
Big funny from engadget readers yesterday.
I think that you may have to be a geek to like this. I like it.
New products should be listed in about an hour.
Enjoy.

Vacation Summary

The vacation from work (and leading up to the vacation) became a vacation from the blog. Instead of telling you about it, I’ll show you these pictures.

Valentine

Six years ago, Malcolm and I made two-foot by two-foot hearts for Jillian and Maggie. This one has traveled with Maggie ever since. In six years, it has been in six different places.

Never underestimate the power of macaroni and poster paint.

Oh, and you should see what happens to those BB-sized silver ball cake decorations (still not sure if you're supposed to eat those) after six years. I’ll post a macro shot.

Oh and sorry for the size of the image- I got a big heart.

Hope your day is good.

Science is Stupid

I don’t know what happened, but it had to do with a gas leak and this dangerous, dangerous department. When we slip up in the English department- no one gets hurt. What good has science ever done for anyone anyway? Let’s go back to insane theories based on magic and get back to analyzing this poem.

Thanks to the Divine Teacher

I don’t know how it is for you, but I find (as with many things in my life) music is cyclical. Right now I seem to reentering a Beatles period.

While driving south we were listening and singing along to “Across the Universe.” Although we knew most of the lyrics and had sounds that fit in to the refrain, we didn’t know what we were singing or what it might mean.
