Happy Halloween

I love Halloween. Although I haven’t dressed up in a few years, and I’ve been planning on throwing a Halloween party but never really have, I still love this holiday. Cold October air- people liberated of social norms- free candy- orange beer- wait that doesn’t happen.

Anyway… in the spirit of the holiday, follow this link, shoot a zombie, or carve a virtual pumpkin. I didn’t try all the games or any one for very long, but I am proud of the 42 on Zombie World 2 and I know I would have gotten past level 8 on De-Animator if I knew how to use the shotgun at the time.

What You'll Find Here

Now that we have this working to some degree (you may find this changing form yet again in the not to distant future), we can start to actually use this feature.

The Reason for the Blog:
We were looking for a way to keep in contact with as many people as possible, as frequently as possible. This seemed like a good way to do that. On top of that, it seemed like it would be an interesting experiment in documenting the beginning of our marriage. So in a way it’s both for you and for us.

BUT-
we don’t want this to be just a venue to broadcast all the events in our lives. In fact I think that Maggie and I both struggle a bit being at the center of attention.

So…why do this to ourselves you ask? Well, it’s not that we have lots of time on our hands or that we think that we’re overly important or interesting. I think it may be a way to share some neat things we find, gather loved ones for events, and create a forum that we can use to share the events, hopes and dreams of all of you. (So send us stuff about you, it’ll take the pressure off).
So c’mon back anytime. We’ll try to keep updates often, interesting, and useful.

Thanks

We would like to thank everyone that made our wedding the greatest day we could imagine.

We are in the early stages of massive changes to the website. You'll notice that [Registries] is now [Links] and [Guest Info] is now [Photo Albums].

In the [Links] section you’ll find links to friends’ web pages and, as time goes on, to other useful or fun things.

In [Photo Albums] you will find links to Snapfish albums. If you use Snapfish, the photo section needs no explanation. For those of you who are unfamiliar, it is free to view pictures and you can order or print. You do need to sign up; however, there is no obligation of any kind.

As of right now there are four albums: Tables + Digi (donated pictures of the wedding from those in attendance), Honeymoon, Rhino Rides (snorkeling and boat riding from St. Maarten), and DVD Pics (everything that was on the DVD we had looped at the reception). The professional photographs will be coming soon, so please check back.

Again, thanks to everyone. Dan and Maggie

Welcome

Thanks for visiting. There will be some actual content soon.
