Hunting Houses

Yesterday was a marathon day of house viewings (although somehow not at all tiring). We looked at five properties in Middletown (we’re still considering Hamden as well). It was fun and a bit like House Hunters- if we had to pick from yesterday’s houses, we’d go with #3.

As of so far, I like the home buying process a lot better than the car buying process. I know that we are at the fun part where we get to poke around people’s houses and make hilarious comments and observations, and that there may be a world of stress around the corner, but we hope for the best and are enjoying it.

Our real estate agent for the Middletown area is awesome and if anyone is looking in the area, I would strongly recommend her.
