Portion Control

Although The Food Network can be a great resource for recipes, some things there just don’t apply to our group of friends.

  • Count on 3 drinks per guest.
  • Provide guests with non-alcoholic drink choices.
  • Assume some of your guests will be vegetarians.
  • A portion of meat per person is 1/4 pound.

Yeah, we should probably write in with a revised list. I was thinking of like a 12 lb turkey for 8 of us, so our meat portion is like 1 and 1/2 lbs (but we should minus the carcas).
