A Casualty of Married Life

Phone Post: Vader has been exiled.
Additional Post: Ten minutes later.
Apparently there is no place in our married life for Darth Vader. Which I guess is a good thing. He now resides in my classroom, which I think is great because you’d expect an English teacher to have a bust of Dante or Shakespeare. And even if it is a loss for me, it is a win for the students who really seem to like it.
Although, I do wonder if this is a slippery slope that I find myself on. I already hear talk of that black leather chair being replaced. I have a feeling that sooner or later my classroom will look like my old apartment.
At least the banana tree has a home on top of the fridge. But for how long?
Also, that might be a win for Malcolm or, for all I know, Jillian.

None of my teachers ever had a Darth Vader anything in class. I would've loved it. (one prof. at Emerson did have a collection of Elvis items including a tea set)
banana trees have no business here...married or no, it is my mission to annex them all to Indonesia. stay vigilant, Dan. You have been warned.
ominously,

i saw vader today.....you always said you liked to walk up and down the aisles of the classroom humming the imperial theme.....i think its a plus for the classroom, i wouldnt misbehave if i knew darth could do the force choke thing......i dont know if that whole force choke thing has some other meaning....it seems like something bad either way....if you need back up though....ill prepare the troops the chair must stay.....i have a leather (black as well) couch in my basement.....i protect it with laser guided missles....a good investment i must say. they also come in handy when my sister messes with my stuff.....after the first prostetic arm......she learned her lesson. \_/
